Festival Makers
The Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival would not happen without the support and dedication of our amazing volunteers. We are now on the search for festival volunteers for 2023!
As you can see from the different roles below, we have something for everyone.

Area Supervisors
Area Supervisors are responsible for their ‘zone’ in the festival. This means taking care of the vendors, other Festival Makers assigned to the same zone, as well as the public attending. You will be fully assisted by the Festival Maker Coordinator and the outside agencies available to us over the weekend.
Area Stewards
Area Stewards work closely with Area Supervisors and assist them in the safe running of their assigned zone.
Traffic / Car Park Management
Working alongside our contractors, we are responsible for several car park and road closures. You will assist in these closures where required and help keep the flow of people and traffic over the weekend.
On Friday afternoon, we require a small number of volunteers to help with car park closures so our vendors can setup ready for Saturday morning.
Runner
Essential for any event and organisation is communication, and we are no different. The Runner will be based in the Festival Office and will be responsible for ‘fetch and carry’ throughout the day. A fun, varied and energetic post!
