Langricks was founded in Cheshire in 2009 by Chris and Camilla Langrick and in 2019 they expanded their reach by purchasing Michael Bell & Co Chartered Accountants in Holmfirth near to where they live and where Chris Langrick was born and bred. More recently they have merged with another Holmfirth based practice, Balance Accountants. By merging the 2 practices they can now offer the clients of both businesses a fully rounded accounting and business advisory service with a team of over 45 accountants across their 3 offices.

They aim to provide a true ‘cradle to grave’ service, helping start-up businesses get underway, looking after all of the compliance requirements with the accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, payroll, audit and VAT, then advising business owners with a growth strategy, creating a forecast plan and assisting with an exit of the business whilst making sure adequate business and shareholder protection is in place and that tax planning is considered along the journey. They also help prepare for retirement, with pensions / investment support and inheritance tax planning through their partnership with Pareto Financial Planning.
