This year we will again be running the very successful Park and Walk operating from the Sands Playing fields. This is the best place to guarantee a parking space and only a few minutes walk will take you directly into the centre of Holmfirth. Please note: There is a small donation of £2 per car. HD9 Community Music will be on hand to guide you into your parking space.

The address for your Sat Nav is:
194 Huddersfield Road
West Yorkshire

Disabled parking is available in Crown Bottom car park (near the Co-op)
There are a few spaces available at the Sands Leisure Centre (HD9 3JL)

The Sands Playing fields are not suitable for camping or campervans. However, there are 2 campsites fairly close to Holmfirth. These are:
The Woodhead Barn, Bedding Edge Rd, Holmfirth HD9 1TP and
Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park, Thongsbridge, Holmfirth, HD9 7TD

Yes, Holmfirth is generally a very dog friendly town and dogs are welcome as long as you are sure they can cope with the conditions. However, the food festival is extremely busy, so we advise against bringing dogs if possible because their paws could easily be stood on and their leads could trip people up. If you do choose to bring your dog, they must be kept on leads at all times and you must clear up after your dog immediately. If your dog is getting upset or is causing a nuisance to other festival goes then you and your dog may be asked to leave.

The Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival is FREE to enter. Food and drink and any produce bought at the Festival will need to be paid for.
Yes! These are to be found in the Holmeside Memorial Gardens. A detailed timetable will be posted on the website on the lead up to the Festival.
This information will be posted on the website on the lead up to the Festival.
