About HD9 Community Music
HD9 Community Music are excited to invite you to some fun music sessions during the fabulous Food and Drink Festival on 13 th and 14 th September 2025. We will be in the Family Area in the Memorial Gardens in Holmfirth. Saturday 13 th September 11.00am – 11.40am Mini Music Makers – Join Megan in this interactive Toddler Music Session. 12.00pm – 12.40pm Brass Taster - Come along and try a brass instrument. If you have never played or used to play this session is for you. We will have a range of Brass instruments for you to try out. Age 6 and up 1pm – 1.40pm – Listen to a performance from our Brass players at HD9 Community Brass. All ages welcome Sunday 14 th September 11.00am – 11.40am - Mini Music Makers – Join our Woodwind players for this fun music session as our musicians play lots of nursery rhymes you will know and can join in with. Toddler Session 12.00pm – 12.45pm – Junk Instrument Making Session – come along and join our young musicians make musical instruments that you can shake, band or scrape. Ages 5 – 10 Please note children must be accompanied by an adult during these sessions. Megan, Paul, Sarah and Alice Hope to see you there!!
